Magaguadavic River Bridge

December 2018 | St George, New Brunswick

Magaguadavic River Bridge is an existing steel-truss in St George, Nova Scotia, Canada. The existing structure is deteriorating. Wood Research and Development created this design for the Ministry of Transportation to evaluate the feasability of replacing the bridge with a glulam timber truss.

The design consists of a clear-span, glulam timber truss. The bridge would carry two lanes of traffic with sidewalks on each side.

I created these renderings using Sketchup.
